Other Features:
RAM – It comes with an 8GB of RAM, which is standard like all other M1 Mac models. The good news is, it’s possible to upgrade to 16GB of RAM via a $200 build to order option.
SSD – The base model for M1 iMacs comes with either 256GB or 512GB, users do have the option to upgrade to up to 2tb of SSD storage.
Connectivity – The iMac features a Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for faster wireless performance just like the other Macs with M1 chips.
Design
The Design is thinner and more compact compared to other models and runs on the M1 chip which offers a very powerful performance. The design’s measurement is 11.5 millimetres thin, but loaded with many features which makes it an outstanding machine.
The logic board and the thermals were not left out of the new design, they were consolidated and dramatically reduced in size compared to previous models. This helps the machine to look more attractive because of the significant reduction in size, the compact design reduces the size by at least 50 percent, which means it occupies less space and could fit easily into even more places.

The display is not as wide as it was in the previous models and feature true tone technology that adjusts the colour temperature of the display automatically. This offers a more natural viewing experience as the environment dictates, furthermore the 4.5K retina display features Apple’s industry-leading anti-reflective coating.
Ports
The main thing regarding port in the past was every iMac comes with two thunderbolts for faster data transfer the benefits are:

This iMac is configured with an 8-core GPU, which offers tow additional USB-C ports and also feature 1Gbps Ethernet port in the power adapter, which allows the user’s workstation to be less cluttered.
There are no options to purchase additional two ports, therefore the four port setting is limited to higher end models, because the power adapter with Ethernet port is available as an add on option for the low end iMac. Located on the left-hand side is the 3.5mm headphone jack for a wired audio.

The image quality is improved because of the advanced image signal processor (ISP) M1.
