M1 Pro and M1 max scale the amazing M1 architecture to a new height, they bring a system on a chip (SoC) architectural to the Pro notebook for the first time. They both have CPU cores, more GPU cores and more unified memory compared to M1.
The powerful neural engines super charges both the machine learning and upgraded media engines with ProRes support. M1 Pro and M1 Max allow pros to do things they’ve never done before.

Promotion – This is the first time Pro Motion is being included in the MacBook, it makes everything from scrolling through a web page to gaming super fluid and responsive. It reduces power consumption with refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The adaptive technology automatically adjusts to match the movement of the content.
As a video editor, you also have the option to choose a fixed refresh rate, which is precisely aligned with their footage.

The device has three studio-quality mics, these mics are very powerful because it has up to 60 percent lower noise floor, it can also capture the subtlest sounds. The three-mic array uses directional beamforming therefore your voice will always be loud and clear.
