Using the On screen Keyboard

  1. Open the Keyboard: Tap a text field in any app to bring up the keyboard.
  2. Type: Tap individual keys or use Quick Path to slide your finger from letter to letter.
  3. Navigate: Pinch to resize the keyboard for one-handed use.
  4. Special Characters: Tap the globe key to access numbers, symbols, and accented letters.
  5. Autocorrect and Undo: The keyboard offers autocorrect suggestions. To undo, shake your device or use the undo/redo gestures.
  6. Keyboard Sounds: Enable keyboard clicks in Settings > Sounds.
  7. Trackpad Mode: Touch and hold the spacebar to transform the keyboard into a trackpad for precise cursor control.

Additional Tips

  • Select Text: Tap and hold a word, then drag the selection handles.
  • Cut, Copy, Paste: Use the standard gestures (three-finger swipe) or the Edit menu.
  • Language and Keyboard Layout: Customize your keyboard settings in Settings > General > Keyboard.
