The Messages app on your iPad offers powerful search capabilities to help you locate specific messages and attachments. Here’s how to use it:
1. Access the Search Bar:
- Open the Messages app.
- Swipe down on the conversation list to reveal the search bar.
2. Start Your Search:
- Tap the search bar and type your query. You can use keywords, phrases, or specific criteria.
3. Refine Your Search (Optional):
- As you type, you’ll see suggested filters below the search bar. Tap a filter to narrow your results:
- Messages with: Search for messages from a specific contact.
- Messages in: Search within a particular conversation.
- Photo: Find messages containing photos.

- Wallet: Discover messages with Wallet passes.
