  • Wallet: Discover messages with Wallet passes.

4. Combine Search Criteria:

Quick Tips:

• Suggested Searches: The search bar also suggests recent conversations, photos, locations, and more. Tap a suggestion to quickly access it.

Capture Your Voice for Accessibility

If you’re concerned about potential speech loss or have a speech disability, you can create a personalized voice on your iPad. This voice can be used with Live Speech to help you communicate effectively in various situations, including FaceTime calls and assistive communication apps.

Here’s how to create your Personal Voice:

1. Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPad.
2. Access Accessibility: Navigate to the Accessibility settings.
3. Create a Personal Voice: Tap on “Create a Personal Voice” and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:

• To pause and resume the recording process, tap “Done” and then “Continue Recording.”
• You’ll need to set a passcode on your iPad to access the Personal Voice creation option.

Your Personal Voice, Your Privacy: Your personalized voice is securely stored on your iPad and can be used for:

• Phone and FaceTime calls
• In-person conversations
• Third-party AAC apps

Important: Please use Personal Voice solely to create a voice that sounds like you for your personal, non-commercial use. Your Legacy Contact will not have access to your Personal Voice.

Use Predictive Text on Your iPad

Predictive text can help you type faster and more efficiently on your iPad. As you type, it suggests words, emojis, and even information like your location or phone number.

How to Use Predictive Text:

1. Inline Predictions:

   • As you type, suggested words appear in gray text.
   • Tap the spacebar to accept a suggestion.
   • Keep typing to reject it.

2. Word and Emoji Suggestions:

   • Suggestions appear above the keyboard.
   • Tap a suggestion to add it.

To Turn Off Predictive Text:

1. On-screen Keyboard:
   • Tap and hold the Globe or Emoji key.
   • Tap Keyboard Settings.
   • Turn off Predictive.
2. External Keyboard:
   • Go to Settings > General > Keyboard.
   • Turn off Predictive.

Note: Turning off Predictive Text will also disable inline suggestions.

How to Take an Assessment:

   • Quick Check: Tap Anxiety Risk or Depression Risk and then Take Questionnaire.
   • Deeper Dive: Scroll down to Get More from Health and tap Take Questionnaire.
4. Start the Assessment: Tap Begin and follow the prompts.
5. Review Your Results:
   • Understand Your Score: Tap the i button next to your risk level.
   • Share Your Results: Tap Export PDF to save a copy.
   • Get Support: Scroll down to Mental Health Resources and Learn More for helpful articles and crisis contacts.
6. Finish Up: Tap Done.

A Note on Accuracy:

The assessments in the Health app, the PHQ-9 and GAD-7, can be useful tools to identify potential risks for depression and anxiety. However, they’re not a replacement for professional diagnosis. If you have concerns about your mental health, please consult a healthcare provider.

Customize Your Check-Ins:

You can tailor your mental health tracking experience:

1. Open the Health app on your iPad.
2. Tap the Menu button, then select Mental Wellbeing.
3. Choose an Assessment: Tap Anxiety Risk or Depression Risk.
4. Scroll Down: Tap Options below Export PDF.
5. Toggle Settings: Turn Periodic Questionnaires and Unpleasant Logging on or off.

By enabling Periodic Questionnaires, you’ll receive reminders to take assessments a few times a year. With Unpleasant Logging turned on, you’ll be prompted to take an assessment if you’ve been feeling down.
